Christine Lee is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing compassionate, personalized mental health care. She believes that one of the most important parts of treatment is taking the time to truly listen, understand each person’s experience, and work together to find a treatment approach that feels right for them.
Christine began her advanced practice career as a Family Nurse Practitioner after earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Through her work in primary care, she discovered a strong passion for mental health and went on to earn her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Frontier Nursing University.
With more than 11 years of nursing experience, Christine brings a broad clinical perspective to psychiatric care. Her background includes emergency nursing, family practice, and serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the U.S. Army.
Christine takes a collaborative, evidence-based, and holistic approach to treatment. She understands that mental health care is not one-size-fits-all and works with each patient to develop a plan based on their individual needs, concerns, and goals. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions, discussing concerns, and taking an active role in decisions about their care.
Outside of work, Christine loves being outdoors—especially anywhere near the water. She enjoys paddle boarding, exploring new places, and spending time with her daughter and her puppy.
